Factors That Go Into

Setting a Commission Fee

 

There are many factors that go into setting and negotiating a commission fee. Some of these factors are:

  • Whether or not the Sellers will buy their next home through me (Listing Agent)

  • Whether or not the Listing Agent also secures the Buyer

  • Marketing Expenses & Level of Difficulty

  • Salability of the particular home

  • Condition of the Home

  • Desirability of that type of home

  • Pricing  At Market or Below? Above Market?

  • Expertise Necessary to close the transaction

  • Location

  • Timing

  • Competition

  • Current Market

  • Interest Rates


Additionally, there are various levels of marketing and details to handle depending on the owner's desires and/or the marketing necessary to timely move the property.


In recognition of these various factors, I have created a graduated commission scale.
